Mind of Christ pt. 3

Continuation of Mind of Christ pt. 3--The Believer must understand that once we come to Christ, there must be a total surrender of our lives to Him. No longer is it about our agendas, upbringings, belief systems but we become His servants, willing and available to do His will according to His Way. In saying this, it takes the Spirit of God working in our lives to increase the mind of God, the ways of God and the power of God, when our faith is placed in the Cross of Christ. Therefore the Spirit of God can only increase in our lives as we decrease.
Christians must understand that there has to be a conversion in mind, heart, soul and spirit. Peter tried living for God based upon what he knew of God in his own mindset. He was saved, but had not allowed the Spirit of God to transform his mindset. Many of us as Christians find ourselves in the same dilemma, trying to serve God based upon traditions, precepts, our mindsets, agendas and motives....etc . We must have the Mind of Christ! 1 Cor.2:16

This Life That I Live in the Flesh, I Live By Faith in the Cross!

Topic of discussion is "This Life that I Live By Faith." Galatians 2:20-21.
The Believer must understand what it means to be crucified with Christ in order to live a victorious Christian life. The problem with most, is that once we give our lives to Christ, we don't really understand what to do next. We've all been told that it's about working in church or doing religious activity, but those things have nothing to do with living for Christ or spiritual life. The book of Ephesians teaches us that we must first rest in Him in order to walk/live for Him. In other words, come to know something in order to become something, namely, Christlike. Too many of us know church or religion, and know how to serve an organization and man, but not many of us are living a victorious Christian life with the Power of God manifested. We must understand that in order to have the Power of God to show up in our lives to overcome sin, the world Satan, and self, we must live this life by faith in the atonement made at Calvary. This is the only Way in which the Spirit of God will work.

Crucified With Christ - The Power to Overcome Resistance

Understand that just because one operates in a gift or ability does not mean that one is living a crucified life. Our character must be changed to match that of Christ and the process of denying self must be applied daily. This is a spiritual work which can only be done by the Holy Spirit when our faith is properly placed in the Cross of Christ.
The process of being changed in our daily living is called Sanctification. In this process, one must exhibit faith in the Cross just like it was done the day you gave your life to Christ (Justification). This is where we learn to walk/live by the Power of the Holy Spirit, who only works based upon our faith in the Cross of Christ Colossians 2:6. This is the area where most of us stumble.

Conformed Into the Image of Christ

Life Comes as a Result of Being Dead. -Crucified With Chirst- Galatians 2:20-21

Galatians 2:20-21To be crucified with Christ is to be dead (the power of the flesh, sin....etc no longer dominates you) to the world system, religion, self, sin and Satan. It means that we no longer strive to live for self, nor our old life as we have known it. The passions and lust which controlled us before Salvation should be nailed (destroyed) to His Cross. This is necessary so that the life of Christ can be manifested through us.Too many of us give our lives to Christ and then try to live for God based upon our old way of living, thinking, traditions and self efforts.
