Oftentimes we find ourselves going through the routine of religious works and activities trying to serve and live for God but it is all based upon man's interpretation of Scripture which is contrary to the Way of God, the Cross .We find ourselves quoting scriptures, going through religious activities apart from a relationship with God through Christ. God is looking for individuals who will serve Him based upon His desires, motives, and will. To worship God is to walk in obedience to His Word by faith. Those who worship Him, do so based upon who He is and what He has done for humanity by sending His son Jesus to die on our behalf at Calvary. Worship isn't based upon a location by a Person, Jesus Christ.
Please feel free to tune in.Shonette

Topic of discussion is "You Know Not What You Worship - Experiencing the Real Christ and Change" John 4
Oftentimes we find ourselves going through the routine of religious works and activities without experiencing an active life changing relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by faith. We find ourselves quoting scriptures, but not seeing the power of God manifested to overcome sin, self, the world and Satan. This example we find with the woman at the well, she knew of God, even went through the motions of worshiping God but yet was caught up in sin and had not encountered the True and living God whereby she could be changed. There Christ the Savior of the world stood before her and she did not recognize Him until she had an encounter with Him which forced her to admit her sin and error and truly live a Christian life which brought about change. Although in church, going through the motions of worship and service, she didn't know Him. How many fall into this same category?

Walking After the Spirit Brings About A Change in Heart

Understanding God's Word Teleconference Bible Study will be held on tonight Tuesday 3/14/17 @ 6:45 pm EST, 5:45 pm CST, 4:45 pm MST, and 3:45 PST, and every Tuesday. All you will need to do is pick up your phone and call this number (712)-432-3900 and then enter code 730746 followed by the # when prompted.
Topic of discussion is "Walking After the Spirit Brings About A Change in Heart" Ephesians 4:1-6; 17-32, Ephesians 5:1:1-21. Galatians 5:17; Romans 8:6-13; Romans 1:16-18
Since the time of the fall in the Garden of Eden, all of humanity has had to deal with a nature with a bent towards wrong doing, the sin nature. After Salvation, we as Christians have to look to the Cross exclusively for the Power of the Holy Spirit to put to death the residue of what this sinful nature produced before our Salvation experience, namely unrighteous activity as well as the power which sin had over our mind, will and emotions (soul and spirit). To view things from a human perspective or according to the flesh, will bring about a Spiritual death or separation from the life and power of God here on earth. You as a Christian will walk in the blindness of your own way of thinking and not according to the mind of Christ..The word flesh in this sense denotes the whole personality of man as organized in the wrong direction, as directed to earthly pursuits rather than the service of God through faith in Christ.By exclusively trusting in the Cross of Christ, this gives the Holy Spirit the ability to move on your behalf to give you and I Victory. We must be willing to allow this change to take place in our lives daily. Many of us are trying to live a Holy life by the power of human strength and ability which brings forth defeat. Not by our power nor our might, but by the Spirit of God!
Please feel free to tune in.
