Christ is the End of the Law For Righteousness to Him that Believes pt. 2

Topic of discussion is a continuation of "For Christ is the End of the Law for Righteousness to Everyone Who Believes" Romans 10:4, Romans 7, Hebrews 10:9
The Purpose of the Law or the Ten Commandments, were never given for us to try to obtain them in our strength and ability. The Law was given to show man that he was a sinner and needed a Savior in order to keep God's commandments. After the death of Christ, He fulfilled the Law so that it might be established in us as we exhibit faith in His atonement. Romans 8. What we must understand as Believers, is that the Law of God was never to be binding upon the New Testament Church. What I am finding in the body of Christ is that we preach the Message of the Cross in order that people may give their lives to Christ but fail to continue to teach the Cross for daily deliverance and Victory.
We teach people that in order to be changed by God we must work for Him. Law is when we create rules or standards to live by according to our human strength and ability instead of the Power of the Holy Spirit working in us to remove the lust of the flesh, pride of life, and the lust of the eyes. Many of us as Christians are afraid of ceasing from our labor in order that we must sit at His (Christ) feet and learn how to overcome sin, self, the world and Satan. There is no amount of efforts/works in which we can do to please God other than simply believe in what His Son has already afforded to us at Calvary!

What we must understand as Believers is that the Law of God was never to be binding upon the New Testament Church. What I am finding in the body of Christ is that we preach the Message of the Cross in order that people may give their lives to Christ but fail to continue to teach the Cross for daily deliverance and Victory. We teach people that in order to be changed by God we must work for Him. More abundant life is based upon you and I embracing the Message of the Cross. Christ states that His purpose in coming to earth was to grant the Christian overcoming life and to have it in abundance. Many of us think that God's purpose in calling the believer is for us to obtain all of our selfish desires by obtaining riches, and material gains. God has called us in order to change us and to make us One with His purposes and desires. He never called us to be stuck in defeat but to walk in Victory over all obstacles. What pleases God most and causes Victory to flow is when our faith rest in the Cross of Christ.

We too often associate Christ/God with our religious activities, our church organizations, opinions, biases, denominational traditions or the positions we hold etc., instead of His true Person and Purpose in Coming, all based upon the Will and Way of the Godhead, Calvary. Unless you come to know Him personally and experiential,,all based upon Who He is and What He has done at Calvary, you will be limited in your growth spiritually as well as physically. There will be no power to overcome sin, selfish way, the ways of the world nor the devil. The only way that the woman at the well was able to overcome, was through her encounter with Christ as the Truth, the Way and the Life. Although she was engaged in attending church/religious activities,she did not experience liberty until she met Christ and applied the Word by faith.
